The sunset in Formentera is one of the most evocative moments of the whole day. The aperitifs on the beach, the quiet sound of the sea and the music in the background, are instants that pass in a moment, and yet, they are well etched in my mind.
In that moment, that lasts only a few a few seconds, you realize that the freedom and peace of mind are things that are priceless. Savour the beauty of a new world and everything around you seems so perfect. Even the dress that I wore is terribly perfect: a linen long dress and nothing more. Barefoot by the sea. And the world seems to stop in an instant.
Il tramontare del sole a Formentera è uno dei momenti più suggestivi di tutta la giornata. Gli aperitivi sulla spiaggia, il rumore silenzioso del mare e la musica in sottofondo, sono istanti che passano in un attimo eppure ancora sono ben impressi nella mia mente. E’ in quell’ attimo, che dura solo pochi pochissimi secondi, in cui tu ti rendi conto che la libertà e la serenità sono cose che non hanno prezzo. Assapori la bellezza di un mondo nuovo e tutto intorno a te ti sembra così perfetto. Anche il vestito che ho indossato è terribilmente perfetto: un lungo abito di lino grezzo e niente più. A piedi nudi in riva al mare. E il mondo in un istante sembra fermarsi.
